Maureen Sullivan

Although we’ve known each other since high school, it wasn’t until this recent chapter in my life that our friendship really began. She came into my life at just the right moment, offering support and laughter when I needed it most. Maureen is a brilliant blend of wit, intelligence, and self-confidence—the kind of person you always want in your corner. I was honored when she sat for me last October during my 50 Women shoot in LA, where her personality shone through in every frame. Though we don’t get to see each other often, I look forward to the day she visits Sharon Springs, and we can create more memories together.

What really matters to you?

The well-being of my family and friends. Nothing else truly matters.

What brings you happiness?

Being surrounded by those I love - through both the good and hard times. If you ha life, you are rich beyond compare.

What are some of the biggest challenges you have faced?

I was raised by two alcoholic parents who placed alcohol and their needs above all wouldn't change it for anything, as it made me the capable person I am today.

What would you change if you could?

Mankind's desire to destroy - civilizations, resources, identities...

What single word do you identify with?

EMPATHY

Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.
— Anais Nin

Thank you Maureen!
